The dusty trail
I’ve reached the point where I feel that it’s time to shut down the blog. I have three reasons for making this decision:
1) I’ve lost interest in this community because the balance has been lost to a shipping frenzy.
2) I’m tired of dealing with the stigma that has become associated with this blog due to a few mods who can’t seem to let a grudge go.
3) I was given an offer by Plant-mod tonight*, and by all accounts it’s a good one. Yet I know that if I were to accept this offer, a few other people concerned in the deal would probably go into open revolt over the matter. Regardless of whether or not I deserve that treatment, Plant-mod doesn’t deserve that kind of headache.
That said, I’m done here. I imagine my other blog won’t be far behind this one.
* If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t worry about it.

I’d help you out with this, but Her High and Mightiness would no doubt track me down and put me to the torch. You should’ve seen what she did to Snake Man when he went after that other human woman whose name escapes me.
Halloween Fun
Here’s a little something to help everybody get into the Halloween spirit! Many moons ago, Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw of Zero Punctuation fame made a series of super-creepy adventure games that are perfect for this time of year. Not so many moons ago, DeceasedCrab played through these games and uploaded his slow descent into madness to YouTube.
Fair warning: while these games are in 16-bit graphics, they are quite graphic and are not suitable for youngsters or the faint of heart.
These playlists range from about 90 minutes to 2 hours each. The games have a rather non-intuitive numbering scheme, so I have arranged the links in the proper order for your benefit. Make sure you watch them in order, or the later games won’t make much sense!
